Who We Are?

We are an English-speaking Christian church. We come from all over the city and all over the world, but we are united by our worship of and devotion to Jesus Christ. We are interdenominational with a charismatic flavor. As the English-speaking ministry of Bratislava City Church, we are part of the Apostolic Churches of Slovakia. Why Do We Exist?

Bratislava International Fellowship exists to be a flourishing community of English speakers who love God, love each other, and make a positive difference in Bratislava. We know that it can be difficult to move away from home, learn a new language, and live in a different culture. As a church family we want to be a safe place where internationals, ex-pats, and English speakers can find a home away from home, grow in their relationship with Christ, and be used by God in His Kingdom.

How Do We Do It?

Our desire at Bratislava International Fellowship is to be a place and a community of believers where people can:

know and be in relationship with the one true God who created and loves them deeply
minister to friends at Bratislava International Fellowship and to others in the community through fellowship, prayer, and support
be a positive and eternal influence in our community through living a life that reflects the heart, plans, and purposes of God

We want to be wide in our acceptance of all people into the church, and partners with other churches as God gives us opportunity to serve the city of Bratislava together. We want to be obedient to following God’s call on our lives and to serve Him both locally and globally. We subscribe to the Lausanne Covenant and its application in our church life.

What Do We Do?

Bratislava International Fellowship has a weekly Sunday Celebration Services which includes passionate worship, prayer, community connection, teaching from the Word, fellowship, and food. The environment is casual and friendly. Come as you are – all are welcome!

We have weekly Women’s and Men’s discipleship groups where we spend time in God’s Word to further understand His heart for us and for His church. These are relaxed-environment gatherings where we can deepen our friendships through conversation, prayer, and s time of encouraging one another. We also host special events that focus on prayer and on worship!

We love to fellowship, eat, and have fun! You will find great events, outside of Sunday services, that give us the opportunity to spend time together! Hiking, skiing, bicycle riding, exploring new foods – they’re all part of the life that is Bratislava International Fellowship! Check out our calendar to see what’s coming up!
